With the help of GroupRaise (https://www.groupraise.com/) , we have been able to coordinate 3 fundraising events in 2 months with local restaurants! How awesome is that?!
On April 10th, the Huntersville, NC Five Guys location donated 20% of our supporter’s purchases to our organization. On April 11th, the Huntersville, NC Jason’s Deli location donated 15% of our supporter’s purchases to our organization. Last night, May 29th, the Hickory, NC Five Guys location donated 20% of our supporter’s purchases to our organization!
This is our favorite way to fundraise because it doesn’t require our supporters to donate EXTRA money. All you have to do is bring yourself, friends and family to eat and a percentage of the money you are ALREADY spending on dinner gets donated to help END slavery in the United States.
Now that we know that this fundraising method works well for us and our supporters, we have decided to have AT LEAST one event per month, in different towns around Charlotte and surrounding areas. We have been to Huntersville and Hickory now. Where else would you like to see us host a fundraiser?!
Thanks to all who have come out to participate & thank you to Five Guys and Jason’s Deli for hosting us and donating to our cause! These fundraisers have made it so easy for us to aid in Ending Sex Slavery in the United States and for bringing the community closer together.
